More on the Book of Exodus

Traditionally attributed to Moses.

Likely between 1440–1400 B.C., during the 38 years of Israel’s wilderness wandering after leaving Mount Sinai in 1445 B.C.

Written as a divine record of God’s deliverance of Israel from Egypt, the giving of the Law, and the covenant relationship between God and His people.

The second book of the Old Testament, directly after Genesis.

Exodus contains one of the most quoted passages in the Bible (Exodus 34:6–7), where God personally describes His own character — the focus of this sermon series.
