Third Service Time FAQs
Why are we adding a third service?
Because God is moving! We’re seeing more people than ever walk through our doors and connect to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. We GET TO make room for more people. A 4 PM service allows us to shepherd our growing church well, ease crowding, and create fresh space for people who are new or exploring faith. We’re incredibly grateful—and excited—to make room for one more.
Why 4 PM specifically?
4 PM beautifully serves younger families and people with busy Sunday mornings. You can enjoy your morning—boat time, brunch, slow start—then come to worship in the afternoon and still be out for dinner before sunset. It also creates healthier spacing between services for volunteers and staff. It’s the best win for our entire church family.
Will there be childcare at the 4 PM service?
Yes! We will offer full nursery and TC3.Kids for the 4 PM service, just like our morning services. We’re building a strong volunteer team so families can expect the exact same safe, joyful, Jesus-centered experience.
Will there be coffee or hospitality at the 4 PM service?

Do you have enough volunteers for a third service?
We’re close—and that’s why this is such an exciting moment! We ONLY need about 20 volunteers to launch strong. We believe God will raise up the right people as we invite our church family to step in. And we’ve made serving easier with clear sign-ups through Planning Center. It’s a joyful opportunity for people to impact lives.
What if you don’t get enough volunteers?
We believe God provides for what He calls us to do. We’ve launched every major step of growth this way—and He has never failed us. Our early December recruitment, mid-month follow-ups, and personal invitations are already gaining momentum. We are confident we’ll have the team we need.
Are staff going to be overwhelmed doing three services?
We’ve built this plan specifically to protect our staff. We’ve adjusted schedules, created rest spaces, added meal support, and built stronger volunteer teams to carry the load. The staff is excited—not exhausted—because they see the fruit. We GET TO do this, and we’re doing it in a healthy, sustainable way.
Are staff getting paid more for adding a third service?
No—our staff aren’t doing this for pay. They’re doing this because they love Jesus and love the people of the Treasure Coast. Their hearts are full of joy about this next step, and we’ve created rhythms and supports to ensure the day is life-giving and sustainable.
Will the worship experience change or be scaled down?
Not at all. The quality, energy, and excellence of worship will stay the same. We have a great rotation of volunteers, supported as needed by part-time musicians within our existing budget. The third service will feel just as powerful, just as intentional, and just as Jesus-centered as our morning services.
Will the 4 PM service be streamed?
No, and that’s intentional. By not streaming the third service, our production team can focus on creating an excellent in-room experience without spreading themselves too thin. Morning livestream continues, but 4 PM is an in-person experience only.
Will adding a third service be too expensive for the church?
Actually, no. We’re doing this within our current budget. The musician budget remains the same, and all other costs fit inside existing ministry lines. This is a stewardship win—the fruit of growth without financial strain.
Will this affect Life Groups or discipleship?
It will actually help! A third service gives us more space to welcome new people who will eventually step into Life Groups. And Deep Dive continues running year-round as our on-ramp, helping people move from attending… to belonging… to growing in community.
If I usually attend 9AM & 10:30AM, should I switch to 4 PM?
If you call TC3 home, we’d LOVE for you to consider making 4 PM your service. It opens up valuable seats for guests and new families in the morning services, which are always the most attended by first-time visitors. You’d be serving your church simply by showing up differently—and you still get your Sunday mornings free!
What will happen between the 11:30 AM and 4 PM services?
Our worship and production teams will have coordinated meals, rest spaces, and host homes to recharge. This helps keep the day healthy and sustainable. We’re building a strong rhythm that supports every volunteer and staff member.
What can I do to help?
Great question! You can help in three huge ways:
- Pray for God to use this new service to reach more people.
- Serve at the 4 PM service—especially in kids, hospitality, or security.
- Attend the 4 PM service if you’re a regular, making space for guests in the morning.
